Resolution to Enhance and Enforce Border Security Laws

WHEREAS, the Constitution of the United States requires the Federal Government to secure the borders of the United States, to protect its citizens from invasion, and Border Security is necessary for the existence of a free State, and

WHEREAS, the current Administration of these United States has eliminated border security, and through its actions has demonstrated that it does not intend to secure our borders, in complete disregard for existing law, and the dereliction of this duty affects all States within the Union, and

WHEREAS, our nation is rapidly disintegrating due to open borders that allow: child/human/sex/drug trafficking, and terrorists as well as untold millions of illegal aliens to enter our Country, and

WHEREAS, our national debt is increasing rapidly, partially due to the subsidies given improperly to the illegal aliens that have and are entering our Country,

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that no Washington State Republican Congressional Representative should vote in the affirmative for any piece of legislation to fund any portion of the Federal government until such time as it can be proven that the Borders will be secured and that the deportation of all illegal aliens has commenced and that the deportations will be completed within one year of the date of the approved authorization of that expenditure.

Approved by the Spokane County Convention Delegates March 2, 2024

To be submitted upon approval to all Congressional Representatives from Washington State, and the Washington State Republican Party.
